Who May Apply: Applicants with Indian Preference All U.S. Citizens Qualifications: In order to qualify you must meet the education and experience requirements contained in the approved job category for P.L. 95561 described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g. Peace Corps AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g. professional philanthropic religious spiritual community student social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience if qualifying based on education your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Basic Education Requirement for the position: Applicants must possess a Bachelors degree (or higher) in social work from a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education. Basic Licensure Requirement for the position: Applicants must possess a current active valid unrestricted license to practice Social Work independently offered by a U.S. State District of Columbia commonwealth territory or jurisdiction. (Note: You must attach a copy of your unrestricted clinical license with your application.) Related Experience Requirement for the position: Applicants are required to have at least one (1) year of specialized experience which includes: Creating educational resources for the public and/or staff regarding topics such as: parenting stress and conflict management couples communication/relationship enhancement child safety developing personal responsibility building selfesteem domestic violence and/or child abuse and neglect Developing family and student classes covering topics such as: parenting stress and conflict management couples communication/relationship enhancement child safety developing personal responsibility building selfesteem domestic violence and/or child abuse and neglect Teaching family and students classes to staff covering topics such as: parenting stress and conflict management couples communication/relationship enhancement child safety developing personal responsibility building selfesteem domestic violence and/or child abuse and neglect.
