The Successful Applicant

GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Social work degree and must have fulfill all of the requirements for the masters degree in social work in a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education. The applicants record of experiences training licensing and education must show full possession of the competencies needed to fully perform the positions required duties and responsibilities. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: To qualify for the GS12 applicant must have 1 year equivalent to the next lower level at least GS11 level (24 months) of experience in clinical social work assignments. Must have specialized experience in professional social work that includes interviewing people to establish the nature and extent of their problems helping them workout plans for improving the situation providing assistance and services referring them to community resources and other organizations as indicated and assisting them to understand and modify their own patterns of behavior when appropriate.
