The Successful Applicant

Basic Requirements: Degree: behavioral or social science or related disciplines appropriate to the position. OR Combination of education and experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.OR Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrated that the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. In addition to the basic requirements you must met the experience:Must be a fulltime or parttime GAO employee on a permanent appointment. In addition applicants must have at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower band level (PEIIB PAII PTIII or MSI) that demonstrates substantive knowledge of GAOs programs and activities its mission policies objectives management principles and processes and the ability to manage staff and independently analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of administrative services and staff resources. The 52 weeks of specialized experience described above must be completed by April xx 20xx the effective date of promotion.
