Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience in a program of direct social welfare services that required the application of program policy and operations knowledge in providing social welfare services considerable independence in providing assistance and service with assignments that may include cases of individuals and families who are facing serious and complicated problems of social services. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Administration and Management Oral Communication Technical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS08).
