Social Worker Wellness Coordinator

The Successful Applicant

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Must have a masters degree in social work from a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE). Must have at least two years (including at least 2000 hours of fulltime postlicensure) clinical experience in a specialized area of social work practice. Must be licensed or certified by a state at the advanced practice level which included an advanced generalist or clinical examination unless they are grandfathered by the state in which they are licensed to practice at the advanced practice level (except for licenses issued in California which administers its own clinical examination for advanced practice).Experience that demonstrates possession of advanced practice skills and judgment. Skill in interventions and treatment modalities used with law enforcement and emergency service personnel and organizations. Experience working wellness and resilience programs. Knowledge of law enforcement customs and culture. Has knowledge of secondary/vicarious trauma and how to mitigate the impact of secondary trauma on the workforce. Is able to plan develop modify execute and evaluate a wellness training program.
