The Successful Applicant

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1. Assesses and treats child abuse/neglect or spouse abuse problems 2. Provides counseling to assist clients to effectively resolve conflicts and problems 3. Recommends solutions to individuals or families in crisis and 4) Develops and facilitates group treatment programs to address the needs of families such as marital groups domestic violence offender or victim support groups.
