The Successful Applicant

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience providing and management of daytoday Mental Health program operations at the DoD and BUMED level. Experience developing new programs and defining mental health needs of USN/USMC through needs assessments baseline program evaluation and other research. Experience functioning independently as a SME in mental health care issues in large scale health service delivery systems. Experience providing effective responses to highlevel (i.e. Congress Secretary of Defense Chief of Naval Operations Assistant Secretary of Health Surgeon General etc.) inquiries and taskers delegating and coordinating to staff as appropriate Experience consulting with other DoD Services (i.e. Army Air Force Navy and Marine Corps Office of Secretary of Defense) and nonDoD Agencies on mental health programming.
