This announcement is issued under the Direct Hire Authority to recruit for positions for which the Department of Homeland Security U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services has a critical hiring need. Basic Requirements: All applicants must meet the following basic requirements: (Must be supported in Transcripts from an accredited institution Resume and/or Applicable Certificate) Degree: behavioral or social science or related disciplines appropriate to the position. OR Combination of education and experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. OR Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrated that the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. GS15: You qualify at the GS15 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience which is equivalent to at least the GS14 level in the federal government that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have experience performing the following duties: Using social science and statistical research methodologies and quantitative and qualitative analysis skills to design and conduct research studies Communicating presenting and articulating complex information base on research analytical and evaluation findings to a wide range of technical and nontechnical audiences and Improving evidencebased decision making through statistical methodology analytical and evaluation design and techniques.
