Must fulfill all of the requirements for the masters degree in social work in a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education. In addition to meeting the Basic Requirement above: Experience Requirement: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS12 under the General Schedule or equivalent pay band in other pay systems. Specialized experience is experience that includes: Responsible for all aspects of the Family Advocacy Program. The Family Advocacy Program Manager manages a multifaceted activity comprised of professional and administrative AF employees that provide a range of services i.e. Prevention/Education Victim Advocacy and New Parent Support in at times multiple facilities. The responsibilities and decisionmaking have a direct and significant impact on the military community and the quality of the support services provided. The incumbent ensures that all aspects of the FAP to include all processes and protocols are followed. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:Administration and ManagementCommunicationsManaging Human ResourcesProgram Management Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS12).
