The Successful Applicant

BASIC REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must possess a degree in social work that fulfills all of the requirements for the Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) in a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education AND must have satisfactorily completed a related practicum. (NOTE: Applicants MUST submit an official or unofficial transcript. Failure to provide the required documents will render you not eligible for consideration.) Licensure: A current active valid unrestricted clinical license to practice Social Work independently offered by a U.S. State District of Columbia Commonwealth territory or jurisdiction is required. (Note: You MUST submit copies of your licenses or certifications with your resume. Failure to provide required documents will render you not eligible for consideration.) Specialized Experience GS14: Applicants must have at least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS13 level in federal service advising on matters related to a federal Employee Assistance Program (EAP) implementing federal EAP policies and procedures and providing case management of EAP clients directly or referring to appropriate services outside the EAP. Career Transition Assistance Plan (CTAP)The CTAP provides eligible surplus and displaced competitive service employees in the Department of Justice with selection priority over other candidates for competitive service vacancies.
