The Successful Applicant

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS11 or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector: Oversees a program that performs complex highly technical administrative and professional psychosocial work mange outpatient treatment to a diverse client population directs a team of professionals including health care providers and manages budget and supply management for the substance abuse program. Must possess a Substance Abuse Certification (Alcohol and Drug Counselor II OR an International Certification Reciprocity Consortium substance abuse counselor certification OR a state equivalent) acquired through passing a proctored exam from a state or nationally accredited certifying body.
