The Successful Applicant

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of clinical social work services at or equivalent to the GS11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector including: experience applying a professional knowledge of social work practices principles theories and administrative requirements to be able to apply them in clinical and occupational setting. Applying evidencebased treatment for a range of psychotic disorders to plan and provide treatment to patients. Applying a working knowledge to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of mental Disorders (DSM) to evaluating psychiatric disorders and apply diagnostic skills. Applying a working knowledge of military organizations culture and the unique stressors upon workers in an operational military workplace. Providing psychosocial evaluation and treatment group psychotherapy casework management consultation services and discharge planning discerns when a change in treatment plan is needed and implements appropriate changes or actions directs patient care program development staff development and supervision training social work interns and provide information in support of research. SELECTIVE PLACEMENT FACTORS: This position has selective placement factors that will be used to screen out ineligible candidates. The selective placement factors are: Completion of two years of full time postmasters degree supervised clinical social work experience. Possession of a permanent full and unrestricted license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker issued by a state District of Columbia the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico or a territory of the United States. Possession of Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers Certification.
