The Successful Applicant

Applicants must meet the following Basic Requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualifications Standards Manual: Applicants must have successfully completed a degree in social work that fulfills all of the requirements for the masters degree in social work from a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education OR have successfully completed a masters degree in social work with practicum. In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of clinical social work services at or equivalent to the GS11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing a comprehensive range of complex clinical services including screening education review and documentation of medical history and current status clinical coordination psychotherapy and group therapy relating to patients of traumatic brain injury or mental health conditions. SELECTIVE PLACEMENT FACTORS: This position has selective placement factors that will be used to screen out ineligible candidates. Failure to document the factors in your resume or application documents will result in an ineligible rating. The selective placement factors are: Completion of two years of full time postmasters degree supervised clinical social work experience. Possession of a permanent full and unrestricted license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker issued by a state District of Columbia the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico or a territory of the United States. Possession of Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
