The Successful Applicant

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: (OPM Operating Manual Qualification Standards for GS0186: Social Services Aid and Assistant Series) GS07: 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least GS06 grade level (obtained in either the public or private sector). This experience is work involved in social welfare or employment and training programs assistant to professional or associate staff engaged in work of a social services nature in private public welfare government program or community organizations or in voluntary services employment guidance in a vocational or academic institution social services of manpower development. These examples are not all inclusive (refer to the summary of duties for specialized experience) SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge skills and abilities (KSAs) to perform successfully the duties of the position and is typically in or related to the position to be filled. All qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement. Merit Promotion candidates must also meet timeingrade requirements by the announcement closing date.
