The Successful Applicant

General Experience:Must have knowledge of social work theories principles techniques and resources. Specialized Experience:Must have 24 months of experience in in the following: Clinical social work assignments Providing assistance and services Helping people workout plans for improving the situation Interviewing people to establish the nature and extent of their problems Referring people to community resources and other organizations as indicated Assisting people to understand and modify their own patterns of behavior when appropriate A Masters in Social Work from an institution accredited by the Council on Social Work Education is required.Substitute degrees will not be accepted. Selective Placement Factor: Possess a current unrestricted State license to practice clinical social work independently. Must be able to obtain and maintain privileging for the DOD/AFMS/ANGMS IAW DHA PM 602513 Vol 4 and DAFMAN 44119. Must maintain credentials requirements at all times (i.e. current and unrestricted state license BLS clinical competencies etc.) IAW DHA PM 602513 Vol 4 and DAFMAN 44119. Professional Social Work Licensure Requirements Must have professional unrestricted state licensure. (Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)) Restrictions No record of conviction by special or general courtsmartial or civilian courts of offenses. For use by AMEDD officers in MFA 73 no record of conviction by special or general courtsmartial or civilian courts of offenses listed in AR 2710 (Military Justice) Chapter 24 or otherwise required to register as a sexual offender under AR 2710 Chapter 24.
