The Successful Applicant

GS(9): Degree: Social work. Must fulfill all of the requirements for the masters degree in social work in a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education. Masters degree with practicum: Applicants who complete all of the requirements for a masters degree in social work that included a practicum are eligible for GS9. GS(11): Education: 3 years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. degree or Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree.Specialized Experience: 1 year equivalent to at least GS9. Specialized Experience GS11: Specialized experience demonstrates the applicants independent experience knowledge and skill in a Bureaus Social Service Program assist with the development and improvement and services aimed at Child Welfare and Family Services. Receipt of child neglect sexual abuse and physical abuse complaints and conducted investigations through home visitation and personal interviews with child/parents. Child Protection Team case manager of assigned cases recruit foster parents develop evaluate train and recommend approval based on Tribal/State standards. Provided counseling to unmarried parent(s) and also provide family welfare services. Establish a therapeutic relationship accept hostility and be nonjudgmental in client activity. The full performance level of this position is GS11.
