The Successful Applicant

You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.Licensure: Must possess a state issued Social Workers license AND a Social Workers license to practice as an independent licensed practitioner. AND Education: Must possess a masters degree in social work from a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education. AND Specialized experience: For the GS11 you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS09 grade level in the Federal service.Specialized experience for this position includes:Working with a geriatric population where the incumbent was responsible for providing admission preparation assessment counseling daytoday assistance initiation and revision of care plans and integrate services to effectively coordinate resident/patient care. OR You may substitute education for specialized experience as follows:3 years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. degree or Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree. In addition to the above requirements you must meet the following timeingrade requirement if applicable:For the GS11 you must have been at the GS9 level for 52 weeks Time After Competitive Appointment: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a nontemporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
