The Successful Applicant

Basic Requirements: Degree: behavioral or social science or related disciplines appropriate to the position. OR Combination of education and experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. OR Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrated that the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. ZPIV: In addition to the basic requirements: Applicants must have one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS12 level (ZPIII at NIST). Specialized experience is defined as experience in a policyrelated role for a multidisciplinary organization including program analysis and assessments strong skills in generating written and oral policy content including integration of best practices from the social sciences and/or psychology experience aligning organizational policy efforts with stakeholder policy offices experience relating organizational policy efforts with internal programs ZPV In addition to the basic requirements: Applicants must have one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS14 level (ZPIV at NIST). Specialized experience is defined as experience in a policyrelated role for a multidisciplinary organization including program analysis and assessments strong skills in generating written and oral policy content including integration of best practices from the social sciences and/or psychology to achieve successful persontoperson interactions and organizational dynamics experience leading the alignment of organizational policy efforts with stakeholder policy offices experience relating organizational policy efforts with internal programs experience representing an organization related to policy matters with government and/or private sector stakeholders experience providing analyses assessments and briefing materials directly to Senior Executives and other organizational senior leaders. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience including volunteer work done. We will credit all qualifying volunteer experience in your application.
