NOTE: TRANSCRIPTS AND OTHER SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION ARE REQUIRED TO SUBSTANTIATE POSSESSION OF QUALIFYING EDUCATION EVEN IF YOU CURRENTLY HOLD OR HAVE PREVIOUSLY HELD A SOCIAL SCIENCE RESEARCH ANALYST POSITION. Possess a degree in behavioral or social science or related disciplines appropriate to the position. Transcript must include the degree and date conferred OR A combination of education and experience that provided me with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. Transcripts must document the semester credit hours acquired in a behavioral or social science or related disciplines appropriate to the position OR Have 4 years of appropriate experience that demonstrates that I have acquired the knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. In addition to the above IOR applicants must meet one of the following: 52 weeks of specialized experience at the GS11 level or equivalent in or relate to the work of the position to be filled that has equipped you with the knowledge skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such experience must include conducting social or economic research concerning the effects of social insurance programs and applying quantitative or qualitative data analysis to conduct research and develop findings. These experiences must include the use of SAS STATA SPSS R or Python (for quantitative) or NVivo or Atlas.ti (for qualitative) to analyze data and develop data files and reports. OR Possess a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree. OR A combination of education and experience. NOTE: Experience in related fields that does not involve the use and understanding of social science principles and theories may not be used as qualifying experience for these positions.
