To qualify for Social Science Research Analyst positions applicants must possess one of the following: A degree in behavioral or social science or related disciplines appropriate to the position. NOTE: Transcripts are required to substantiate education OR A combination of education and experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. NOTE: Transcripts are required to substantiate education OR Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrated that the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. TRANSCRIPTS ARE REQUIRED TO SUBSTANTIATE POSSESSION OF QUALIFYING EDUCATION. All academic degrees and coursework must be from accredited or preaccredited institutions. Such experience must include all of the following: Experience with federal or state disability programs Independently researching and analyzing complex policy issues Using statistical programming to develop datafiles for research and analysis and Preparing technical and research documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
