The Successful Applicant
You qualify at the GS14 level if you meet the following qualification requirements: Basic Requirements: A. Completion of a Bachelors or graduate/higher level degree in the behavioral or social science or related disciplines appropriate to the position from an accredited or preaccredited college or university OR B. Combination of education and experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field OR C. Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrates that the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. Additional Qualifications: You must demonstrate in your resume at least one (1) year of qualifying experience equivalent to at least the GS13 level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following types of tasks: Reviewing the work of staff and other collaborators for technical accuracy Providing coaching or training on the effectiveness of analyses policies and processes Advising on the planning and implementation of social science and/or behavioral studies Developing new methods to ensure optimum research results with respect to data collection functions Responding to issues and concerns about specific applications or proposals Conducting workforce or human resource data analysis Managing and/or leading projects involving quantitative and qualitative analysis (e.g. pay equity studies trigger and barrier analyses forecasting survey design factor analysis) Interpreting presenting and explaining analytic results and Working with analytic tools or programming languages such as SPSS SAS Tableau Python R Excel Cognos and SQL.
