The Successful Applicant

Individual Occupational Requirement for the Social Science Series (101): Degree: behavioral or social science or related disciplines appropriate to the position. or Combination of education and experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. or Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrated that the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. At The GS14: You qualify at the GS14 level if you meet one of the following qualification requirements: You must demonstrate in your resume at least one (1) year of qualifying experience equivalent to at least the GS13 level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following types of tasks: providing expertise on social and behavioral science policy issues involving clinical research on mental health identify research priorities for human research studies involving social and behavioral health research developing written documents and reports to communicate information on social and behavioral science programs policies and issues and collaborating with management officials staff and other organizations on social and behavioral science policy issues involving research programs on mental health. You will receive credit for all experience material to the position including experience gained in religious civic welfare service and organizational activities regardless of whether you received pay.
