The Successful Applicant

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing Counseling and Advocacy technical clinical and administrative oversight management guidance consultation assistance and coordination for Family Advocacy Program. This position has a Selective Placement Factor (screenout) which will also be used to determine minimum qualifications for this position. This position is a TIER THREE clinical care provider. Applicants must meet all of the following requirements as outlined in SECNAVINST 1754.7A: State or U.S. territory license or certification that provides legal authority to provide clinical services as an independent practitioner. When the state or U.S. territory licensing or certification requirements include a written examination candidates for privileging must have achieved a passing score on that examination. Possess at least a Masters degree in one of following clinical fields: Marriage and Family Therapy from a program accredited by Commission on Accreditation for Marriage and Family Therapy Education or an equivalent degree OR Social Work from a school accredited by Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) or an equivalent degree OR Psychology from a doctoral program approved by the American Psychological Association (APA). Have engaged in 2 years that includes at least 2000 hours fulltime postmasters supervised clinical experience. Two years post licensure that includes at least 2000 hours post licensure or 4000 hours post graduate degree fulltime clinical experience in a clinical setting. Another Selective Placement Factor (screenout) which will also be used to determine minimum qualifications for this position. Applicants not possessing this Selective Placement Factor will be found ineligible for this position. The Selective Placement Factor is: Family Advocacy Program (FAP) requirement. Applicants must meet the requirement in accordance with the Department of Defense Manual (DODM) 6400.01V1 March 3 2015: 2 years of experience working in the field of child abuse and domestic abuse.
