BASIC REQUIREMENT FOR SOCIAL SCIENCE 0101: Degree: behavioral or social science or related disciplines appropriate to the position. or Combination of education and experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. or Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrated that the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS GS13: A qualified candidates online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS12) in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as meeting ALL of the following: 1. Identifying barriers to equal employment opportunities including discriminatory practices policies and systemic issues. AND 2. Preparing reports detailing findings from data analysis and barrier assessments including recommendations for corrective actions. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS GS14: A qualified candidates online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS13) in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as meeting 2 of the 3 listed: 1. Conducting barrier analyses to report on workforce data that identifies barriers that prevent equal employment opportunities in the workplace. 2.Providing data analytics support related to identifying information on the representation of diverse applicant pools within the workforce. OR 3. Continuously monitoring and quantifying for reports the organizations progress in addressing identified barriers and ensuring compliance with antidiscrimination laws. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience. Examples of qualifying unpaid experience may include: volunteer work done through National Service programs (such as Peace Corps and AmeriCorps) as well as work for other communitybased philanthropic and social organizations. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies knowledge and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience including volunteer experience. CTAP/ICTAP candidates: To be considered well qualified you must (1) meet all of the requirements as described in this section and 2) be rated wellqualified which is defined as having a score of 85 or better.
