The Successful Applicant

Minimum Qualifications: Grade 9: A Masters of Social Work degree from an accredited program under the Counsel of Social Work Education (CSWE) and possess a valid Licensed Graduate Social Work License (LGSW) from the DC Board of Social Work. One year of post Licensed Graduate Social Work License (LGSW) professional social work experience is preferred. Grade 11: A Masters of Social Work degree from an accredited program under the Counsel of Social Work Education (CSWE) and possess a valid Licensed Independent Clinical Social Work License (LICSW) from the DC Board of Social Work and two (2) years of post LICSW professional social work experience. The incumbent should be an enthusiastic and engaged professional who enjoys working with a diverse group of Court personnel and customers and lives the DC Courts values of Accountability Excellence Fairness Integrity Respect and Transparency. Documentation of Education and a copy of your License must be submitted with your application or your application will not be considered. Please note that this position will start at the grade 9 level unless presently in the Federal or DC government. Please note that authorization for the release of your adult criminal record revealing any convictions and forfeitures and any criminal cases currently pending before the courts are required. If you are selected for the position a criminal history fingerprinting and Child Protection Registry (CPR) check will be conducted.
