The Successful Applicant
You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement. Specialized Experience: To be qualified for this position at the GS14 level you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS13 level or equivalent which is directly related to the position as listed in this announcement and has equipped the candidate with the knowledge skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position successfully. Specialized experience is defined as follows: Interpreting research findings and research methods to inform the development of laws regulations and programs regarding housing health community development or poverty issues AND Communicating with program managers Congress or others about research relevant to the evaluation of community/urban development housing homelessness social determinants of health or poverty programs and initiatives AND Conducting research on community development housing homelessness health (as it relates to housing and community development) or poverty programs AND Conducting or supervising statistical analyses on housing and urban/community development or health issues using social science principles and methods. Experience may have been gained in either the public private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to fulltime work parttime work is considered on a prorated basis. To ensure full credit for your work experience please indicate dates of employment by month/day/year and indicate number of hours worked per week on your resume. TimeinGrade: In addition to the above requirements you must meet the following timeingrade requirement if applicable: For the GS14 you must have been at the GS13 level for 52 weeks. Time After Competitive Appointment: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a nontemporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
